BBL – Brazilian Butt Lift

BBL – Brazilian Butt Lift

Brazilian butt lift aesthetic is a special fat transfer procedure that increases the size and shape of the hips by removing and transferring fat from other parts of your body by liposuction. Excess fat in the hips, abdomen, waist, or thighs is removed by liposuction and some of this fat is then injected into certain areas on the hips.

Despite its name, Brazilian butt lift surgery is not a traditional lift procedure like a facelift or breast lift. Brazilian butt lift adds volume to your butt and improves its shape.

Hip shape and proportion are largely determined by genetic factors, both your skeletal structure and the way your body stores fat affect lower body appearance. A healthy diet and exercise can work to maintain a healthy body weight and tone muscles, but many people are dissatisfied with a shapeless and flat buttock despite a healthy lifestyle. Brazilian butt lift can help overcome the effects of genetics by reshaping the hips and surrounding areas such as the waist and thighs. After full recovery, you will have a larger, more protruding, and symmetrical hip, and the areas of your body that have been removed from fat will have smoother body lines.

What does a Brazilian butt lift do to your body?

With Brazilian butt lift aesthetics:

  • Improve the curves of your lower body
  • Reduce fat pockets on your hips, thighs, or abdomen while adding fullness to the hips
  • Help clothes fit more attractively
  • Give the flat hips a younger and more aesthetic shape.
  • Improve your overall proportions by improving the balance between your upper and lower body.

Who is a good candidate for a Brazilian butt lift?

Having a Brazilian butt lift is a personal decision. Brazilian butt lift can be a great option to improve the shape and size of the buttocks. It is important to have realistic expectations about the operation, recovery, and results, and some patients are better suited to the procedure. Your doctor will evaluate your overall health, including any pre-existing health problems or risk factors. Overall, you are probably a good candidate for a Brazilian butt lift if you agree with the following:

  • If you want implant-free hip augmentation,
  • If you have a good skin tone on the hips and surrounding areas,
  • If you have sufficient fat deposits for injection in the buttocks in other regions,
  • If you are willing to avoid sitting directly on your hips for several weeks.

How long does a Brazilian butt lift last?

The effects of Brazilian butt lift aesthetics are semi-permanent and can last for years. However, as you age, your body changes, which can affect your results over time. To maintain the effects of your Brazilian butt lift procedure, you must maintain a consistent weight.

What happens during a Brazilian butt lift procedure?

The Brazilian butt lift process includes three basic steps:

  • Fats from the hip, waist, thigh, abdomen, and/or other regions are removed by liposuction method.
  • The extracted oil is purified and prepared for transfer.
  • The plastic surgeon injects fat at specific points on the hips to increase volume and improve shape.

How is life after surgery?

The operation is performed using general anesthesia. Although postoperative pain is typically minimal and can be easily controlled with pain medication, you are not allowed to sit or lie directly on your hip for ten days after Brazilian butt lift surgery. You can sit easily after the operation with the sitting pillow that will be given to you after the operation. During this period, you will need to lie down or stand up prone or lying on your side for all activities except using the toilet. If you follow the instructions of your plastic surgeon, you can return to light daily activities within 1 week after the operation and return to work within 10-14 days. Results are typically finalized within 6 months of the operation, once the swelling has subsided and fully healed. During this time, a high-protein diet and lower-body exercises are recommended to aid your recovery. You can return to light sports 2 weeks after the surgery, and to all your sports activities 4 weeks later.
